Frequently asked questions

Are you a nut-free school?2021-11-25T15:53:52+00:00

No, but we encourage our pupils and staff to avoid bringing food containing nuts onto the premises.

Does my child have to pass an exam to get into the school?2021-11-25T15:44:55+00:00

No, except if pupils join us at primary age and are non-French speakers when we assess their level. This is not an entrance exam and does not prevent the child to join the school.

Does my child have to continue in the French system?2021-11-22T15:22:59+00:00

After CM2 (Year 6), all pupils have a guaranteed place in the French secondary system. If a child wants to switch to the English system, we also prepare them to integrate British schools (Please see EPC).

Can my child still register even if they don’t speak English?2021-11-22T15:21:10+00:00

From CE1 (Year 3) we run an English as an Additional Language (EAL) course, called Foundation, to help non-English speaking pupils to integrate mainstream classes as soon as possible.
