Following the French system
All pupils who complete their CM2 year (Year 6) will have priority to enter AEFE secondary schools across the globe. In London, most pupils will move on to:
- Lycée Charles de Gaulle in South Kensington
- Lycée Winston Churchill in Wembley
- Collège Français Bilingue de Londres (CFBL)
Following the English system
Pupils who opt for the English system are usually offered places within a wide range of top schools of which the most popular 11+ options are the following senior schools:

Co-ed
A number of parents choose to send their children to English schools each year. Pupils who wish to go into the English school system are assigned three extra hours a week of English in Year 5 (CM1) and Year 6 (CM2) in order to prepare for a transition to the English secondary school system where they are often required to write 10+, 11+ or pre-tests (see EPC programme section)
This allows them to follow the English Maths programme as some areas are not yet covered in the French Mathematics syllabus by the time of the January test entry in CM2 (Year 6). Pupils’ English reading, writing and spoken skills are also honed; they do verbal and non-verbal reasoning and as such they are well prepared for their transition into Year
